Channé joined the Innovation Lab of Southeast Asia (also known as iLab SEA) in 2008. She lead the team working with government agencies, international humanitarian organizations and telecommunication companies in South East Asia in identifying opportunities, co-designing, deploying & launching of ICT solutions to improve public health, education and social justice for communities in Cambodia and beyond.
Throughout the years with InSTEDD she lead iLab’s work in the area of Digital Disease Detection in the Mekong Basin Region, in partnership with the Ministries of Health of the countries in the Mekong region. She initiated and lead the ICT4D Solution Incubator Program for Cambodia that aims to empower Cambodia-based development actors to strategically, effectively and sustainably integrate ICTs in their programs for maximum social impact.
Channé passionate about designing solutions that help people elevate their dignity and living conditions through improvements in health, education, and economic development.
Channé graduated with a Masters Degree in Computer Application from Bangalore University, India in 2006 and BA in Computer Science from Norton University, Cambodia in 2002. in 2017, she became a fellow in the Equity Initiative – a program in Southeast Asia to support and empower outstanding young leaders to pursue and advocate for fairness and equity in health.
